Whether you want to play netball competitively, improve your fitness while meeting some new people or get back into netball, Thame Netball Club welcomes players of all levels and ages.

We were established in 2008 and aim to provide a sociable but competitive environment at training, striking a balance between skill development and match play so as every player can reach their potential.

The Club currently consists of two teams, both of which play in the Aylesbury and District Netball League (ADNL) on Wednesday evenings between September and April:
Thame Tornadoes (1st team) play in division 3 at Aylesbury Vale Academy
Thame Hurricanes (2nd team) play in division 4 at John Colet School, Wendover

Teams are selected each year with the help of impartial guests prior to the start of the new season. However don’t let this put you off joining us, we welcome new players at any time of the year.

During the season (September to April) training occurs every Friday evening from 6.15pm -7.30pm.
Out of season (May-July) training occurs every Wednesday evening from 8-9.30pm.
Training venue: Lord Williams’s Lower School Sports Hall, Towersey Road OX9 3NW.

Training fees are £15 per month for members with visitors having their first session FREE and subsequent sessions are £4.00 per week (adult) and £2.00 per week (U18/Student). Visitors and members must be aged 14 or above. Please note: to play in the ADNL you must be 16 or above unless already playing in the league (new rule for 2018/19 season).

The club also supports members on their journey to become qualified umpires and coaches and so if you want to widen your impact on the netball community there are plenty of opportunities to do so.
